By land:

People's Park: is an urban public park in central Davao, Mindanao, Phillipines. The park is covered with lush vegetation, with more than 1,000 species of plants from all over the world, including Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa, and South America.The park is known for Mindanao artist Kublai Millan's sculptures of indigenous people, and its dancing fountain is a popular destination for locals at night. The park's visitor center is inspired by durians and has a large collection of many species of bamboos. It has been described as "one of the cleanest and greenest public parks" in the Philippines. The park covers an area of 4 hectares (9.9 acres). It was formerly the dilapidated old PTA ground. It was converted to a park and inaugurated on December 15, 2007. Its name was chosen from a "Name the Park" contest organized by the city government.
Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus: Located atop Matina Hill, the Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague is a local mecca for Catholic devotees, as well as being one of Davao City’s most famous landmarks and tourist spots. The structure is unusual in that its chapels are all open-air. During Holy Week, locals re-enact the Stations of the Cross on the hill leading up to the shrine.

There are only few Buddhist temples in the Philippines and visiting one in a predominantly Muslim region was an opportunity that we didn’t want to miss.
D'bone Collector Museum: is a welcome addition to the ever growing number of museums in Davao City. The Museum features a unique collection of over 200 well-preserved skeletons of various animal species from different environments such as the plains, shallow seas and reefs, tropical rainforests, lowlands, and arid regions, including the skeletal remains of two rare sperm whales, one of which is a 41-foot (12.4 meters) long sperm whale which is the largest species of toothed whale and on display at the center of the Museum. The bones of the sperm whales are among the 47 skeletal remains displayed in the world and two of only four in the Philippines.
Wakeboard Adventure:
DECA Wakeboard Park: is Davao's newest attraction and water sport destination. Nestled in semi-rustic Tacunan, Mintal in the city of Davao - it makes for a perfect getaway for a chunky serving of action or just to chill out with a cold one in hand.
Aldevinco Shopping Center: Aldevinco houses tiny shops selling native handicraft, garments, fancy jewelry and collector’s items (antique brassware, indigenous musical instruments, etc.). DESCRIPTION: One of the widely popular eco-tourism and outdoor adventures in Davao City. The 3 1/2 hour wild water rafting starts from Barrio Tamugan in Calinan, and then ends at the lowlands. The water course features some 30 rapids of varying degrees of difficulty in the 15 kilometers of rough water portion of the Davao River.
